Pavilions link verandahs, protected courtyards and open decks. Wide
eaves offer shade from the sun and shelter from storms - even with
windows wide open. Appropriately pitched roofs shed water as fast as it
falls.

houses still a pleasure to live in whilst ensuring high energy
efficiency throughout.
